Gas Bijoux Australia

55 years of craftsmanship excellence

Enzo and Toto is always on the hunt for authentic family businesses who manufacture quality products that stand the test of time.

Gas Bijoux is no exception and has been an Enzo and Toto favourite for many years.

Founded in 1969 on the beaches of Saint-Tropez. Gas Bijoux is a French haute-fantaisie jewelry house that has for eternal purpose the solar chic.
Since the very beginning, their creation have been handmade by their craftsmen in Gas Bijoux historic family workshop.

The history of Gas Bijoux is invariably linked to that of a family. The first chapter was written at the end of the ‘60s, upon the canvas of Saint Tropez’s beaches. André Gas, a young artist from Marseille who had graduated from the Paris Beaux-Arts school, would stroll up and sell the lucky charms jewelry he made himself. Once again, this story unfolded under the sun.

Although the creative impetus stems from André Gas himself, each piece of jewelry comes to fruition through the expertise of a team of over 80 artisans. The pieces are cut, assembled, polished, hammered, brushed, threaded, wrapped, enameled and hand-worked according to a precise process, gestures and an acute attention to detail.

The creations of André Gas continue to strive and his greatest success is surely having passed his energy, passion and curiosity down to his children, who joined him in the late ‘90s.

Now that you are familiar with Gas Bijoux's color and reflections, the brand also offers you its perfumes. Four different scents and each of them is like a promise: that of a sun that shines on your skin all year round.

Enjoy our curated selection available online or come and see us in store in our beautiful boutique located in Byron Bay.

Maison Hotel

Amrit and Samuel are the founders of Maison Hotel. Both coming from the fast-paced corporate world, they took the decision to go into slow mode. Feeding their eternal curiosity by travelling, building meaningful connections and spending time near the ocean they learned about creativity’s capacity to heal.

After an unusual set of events which culminated in a bizarre encounter with a French chef-cum-fashion designer in Jaipur, they decided to create Maison Hotel - a bohemian fashion brand inspired by what we love, and by all things authentic.
Without any prior knowledge of the fashion industry they embarked on a self-instructed voyage on fashion design, traditional weaving techniques and distinct embroidery skills with the aim of creating timeless pieces with a vintage spirit.
From idea inception and fabric sourcing in Rajasthan, scouting locations for campaign shoots and presenting the collections at showrooms across the world, the curious nature of their story has ensured that both of them nurture the process from start to finish.

Mother Denim

MOTHER evokes the memories and experiences of growing up in California in the ’70s – what you were wearing, what you were doing and who you were getting into trouble with.
Founded in 2010 by Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER’s first collection of vintage-inspired jeans disrupted the denim landscape – previously a sea of black skinnies – and created an entirely new space in denim.
MOTHER has since grown into a global brand expanding across denim, sportswear, outerwear, and accessories. With a focus on locally made, 95% of the brand’s overall manufacturing is done in Los Angeles and 99% of their denim products are made within a 14-mile radius from the design studio.
MOTHER loves you.

We draw inspiration from the Southern California lifestyle with our comfortable and versatile styles, while our color palette is infused with elements from the coast, mountains, and desert. Our talented design team combines years of diverse expertise and character to build a collection that is trend-driven, yet true to our core value of timelessness. At Project Social T, we expertly blend comfort and style into every piece for maximum wearability. We begin by sourcing the finest yarns from local vendors and developing unique dye processes and washes. Our signature textured and brushed fabrics have all been developed locally and remain a centerpiece in every collection because of their hand-feel and durability. Introducing new fabrics is also a key part of our creative and technical process. We search for unique compositions that will make you reach for your favorite style time and time again.

Sessùn

The head office of Sessùn has been designed like a home. Located 300 meters from the sea, in the heart of Marseille's city center, it spreads over three floors bathed in sunlight. Particular attention has been paid to ensuring that every employee feels at home in his or her workspace.

The quality of life at work was a central consideration in the design: meeting rooms for teamwork, cocoons for alone-time, a shared kitchen, a bicycle garage, outdoor terraces, a yoga room, lunches catered by chefs, deliveries of organic baskets and local fish produce...

Thought went into selecting furnishings and decorative objects to ensure they convey our vision of the world, bordering on art & craftsmanship, without compromising on functionality. To decorate the space, we also commissioned a series of original works and creations from artisans we love and support - Léa Bigot, who created a 9-metre-high totem for Sessùn, Marion Graux, Atelier Carlès Demarquet, Emmanuelle Roule, Lena Morelli…

Because Sessùn is  committed to developing our own patterns, we have always operated our own in-house dressmaking workshop. A dedicated team of five people works there full-time on prototypes, pattern making and the actual creation of our designs. This offers the freedom to make as many alterations as necessary, to experiment with different fabrics, and to invest as much time as needed to perfect every detail.

This "made-to-measure" approach enables us to craft our garments with unparalleled precision and uncompromising quality, while perpetuating a textile tradition based in the expertise and meticulous attention to detail of professional dressmakers.

Sessùn has over 300 creative employees, all of whom are passionate about their trade and driven by a desire to see the company grow in a warm, collaborative and innovative environment.

The hope is that everyone who works for us thrives, feels happy and has a sense of belonging at Sessùn. It is also important to us that everyone is given the space to show initiative, to own the projects they develop and identify any new undertakings they would like to launch.

The strength of the collective is also central to fostering a spirit of initiative, with everyone fully invested in advancing the common project.
